Abs Training

The main difference between professional bodybuilders and others, is the intensity of their training program. If you are seeking to develop an awesome set of abs, then the intensity of your abs training will make all the difference. Most pros train in unconventional ways and do some unconventional things, but it mainly comes down to training intensity.

So remember, its not how long you train, its the intensity of your workout. My friend Oxsana, pictured here has a full and busy schedule, but the intensity of her workout is unrivaled. If you can make the most of your limited time, you will get awesome results.

A lot of it will come down to how well you prepare and execute your training plan and your weight loss. So many bodybuilders spend most of their time looking in the mirror for immediate results and this delays the results. Get out of the mirror and get to work

What is Intensity

Intensity is how hard you can make a muscle work during your workout. Many non bodybuilders will work their entire body and spread the exercise thin. This is great for general fitness, but never stresses a single muscle long enough or hard enough to make it grown in size or power.

So set a goal for yourself intensity and not the number of sets or the number of reps. Instead of doing 12 sets for your abs, consider working your sets as hard and focused as you can. Perhaps increase the number of reps or increasing the range of motion.

In the training on my website, you will recall, I always talk about the value of the "Pause."  Holding that pause during a contraction for an extra second can mean an exponential growth in your muscle development. That is one of my abs training secrets that many people - even personal trainers - under utilize.

Has your personal trainer told you about the pause? If not, visit www.kgbkillerabs.com and get the most effective workout online.
